Is there any problem with running 9.5" wide rears with 45mm offset?

I know that the general opinion is that it looks "too conservative", but when I plug the numbers in to the calculator it says the wheels still extend outwards 5mm more than stock. From the pictures I've seen this set up looks fine to me:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ht=montego+CSL

So, is there is any problem with running 9.5" wide rears with 45mm offset?

***I tried searching, but "45" is too short of a term for the search engine

What are you going to run in front the 18x8.5 with ET30
i also want to run 18x9.5 Et45 in rear just wondering if i will have any clearance prob in the back.
Anyone running a 18x9.5 with a Et 45 i am planing to run the stock run flats till they wear out and then get a set of GoodYear F1 GSD3's in stock size.
Will a 255/35x18 fit a 9.5 wide rim

Yes, but the tirewall will be more stretched than on the 8.5" wide oem wheel.

The car in the thread you linked is mine...I was running around with that offset for a few a month and it was fine... I have 15mm Spacers on right now giving it a more flush look... If I could've found these wheels with the right offset, I woulda got those instead though... It just looks better with the lower offset.

9.5's are going to be fine with no problems, i think 45 offset is safe anyway

its fine, but they will be tucked in a decent amount.spacers are fine as long as they come with the required longer lugs and are hubcentric.H&R's are made with magnesium and aluminum alloy and are strong. This will make it look very flush with no rubbing. like mine:

You can run that setup no problem, you could even do up to 15mm spacers.
