Man let these haters say what they want.. Truth is (and they know it) that cops here are not as bad as other parts of the country, espacially tri state and north east where you get pulled over by the infamous state troopers just for looking foreign..

Well - I am still buried in snow also. In fact, I am just about to head out of the office to ski for the afternoon. It is pretty warm though - low 50's, no clouds or wind.

OK, I visited Dinan dealership today, and the service manager told me everything fine, except I still have to go state referee and pay the "test fee."
Then i will get some proof of certification. still sucks.

did dinan give you a carb certification paper for the exhaust?

Yah, guy at the smog shop said to keep your CARB numbers with you as Cali cops are now looking for aftermarket parts more aggressively.

I lived in San Diego for 1.5 years, not too bad of a place but too much BS to deal with in Cali no doubt.

I will stay in Sweet Home AL where we don't even have emmissions tests and you can run straight pipes if you want. Not to mention we don't get buried in snow either. Winter tires? what are those? I used to have a modded 350z and cops have even complimented me on it asking how fast it was...

Guys!! I went State Referee and Passed Noise level test.

In order to pass the test, noise level cant go over 95dbA.

It was close, which was 93.8dbA @ 4350 RPM.

Also test fee was free.
