Wastegate rattle fix with g5 board?

I have the dreaded wastegate rattle, tried to fix with jb4 (non g5 board) but was unsuccessful, has anyone had any success with the g5 board?

New G5 ISO firmware has had pretty good results in getting rid of the rattle..

So i ordered the G5 board and cant believe what a difference it made. I would say 90% of the rattle is gone, and mine was BAD

Did you have to change a setting, or did just installing the JB4 G5 do it?

I have been playing around with the wastegate settings on the G5 Board for a while now and have found that setting menu 10 to 84 (42 on RPM Gauge) and menu 12 to the maximum 38. This made all of the wastegate rattle go away, after cold start of course.

Also forgot to mention that the decrease in turbo lag feels awesome!

Setting your settings high like that makes your car run like crap. For best tuning you have to sacrifice. Menu 10 should be 40 (80) and menu 12 (26)

My car doesn't run like crap at all. I tried setting menu 12 lower and I experience low throttle oscillation and rattle. Terry said himself that for some people setting menu 12 lower or higher will fix the low throttle rattle.

I bought the G5 board last week and installed it over the weekend, was there any update to the firmware or did they come updated?

I definitely experience the rattle which started after the install.

The waste gate rattle fix needs to be engaged with the JB4 software. Its not an out of the box feature.
