Where do you Californians go for 1/4 mile tracks?

Is Fontana still open? And what time do they open etc??

Hi eyim1988,

In NorCal, there are two places I know of ... Sacramento Raceway (open Wednesday and Fridays) and Infineon Raceway (Wednesdays).

I've been to both places enough times. I think Infineon is "cleaner", but the challenge is that there are a whole lot more cars showing up there. I've been there some nights and only got 3 runs in 4 hours. Sacramento, i'm usually able to get 8-16 runs (depending on how many breakdowns there are).

Sacramento is doing testing on Saturday now, 12-4.

Fontana's drag strip is closed until they build a sound-barrier wall.

The road course is still operational (WOO!)

Only other option right now is Famoso, but they close for winter, so next available test and tune will be in February

Not yet. Still having rubbing issues with the PSS, so I don't want to launch too hard from a dig till I get it sorted out. Hoping some people want to do a 1/4 mile at shift-s3ctor, at least then I don't have to worry about a cage.

I bought a P-Box. So I just do 1/4 mile runs whenever/wherever.
