In my experience, they are very hit and miss as to whether they throw codes or not. I got a set from ebay that others had said threw no codes, and they intermittently threw codes, so I put them back to standard. Planning on getting some genuine LCI ones and wiring them in when I get time

I also put genuine ones in place of my conventional ones and they worked fine.

If you need a pair i can do you them for £10 posted genuine parts.

Mine throw codes too. I get the 'ping' and bulb failure alert although they are working fine. They were on the car when I bought it though.

What's the best way around this? Can a coder just cancel the warnings?

can you just fit OE ones in replacement of halogens? I thought you have to buy or make up a small loom section as well since the connectors are different on the LED lights.
After market ones have both types of connectors don't they?

SSDD (Teddy). I bought 6 months ago, the entire unit to just the bulb and I've never had a single error code. £25 yes pricey for what they are but hassle free

Looks like I'm advertising, but I'm not. Brought a set for my 335i and now another one for my M3. So pretty! But expensive though. I deliberately underexposed the images to show how bright they are.

The chrome does flake/bubble like after 2-3 years. Shit!
