tire losing 10psi over night, no holes though
i have non run flat tires on and noticed the last two days in the morning i would have to reinflate the tire 10psi because it drops from 30 to 20 overnight. once it's reinflated, everything is ok and i've driven 60 miles with no issues. i took a look at the tire and don't notice any obvious holes or punctures. the tire is still good (a year old) and i would prefer not to have to replace it. should i try one of those slime things to hopefully plug up whatever is causing the slow leak?

my tires would sometime drop a couple psi on cold nights, but never 10...sounds like you might have a very small leak, one that is too minimal to even notice. I would go to where you bought the tire from and have it inspected

You can "paint" the tire with soapy water, the bubbling will show you from where it leaks.
Can be a very small puncture (can be repaired in thread with a plug) or maybe the tire is simply not sealed properly at the bead, or at the valve stem. |

Other than the obvious tire leak, are you running aftermarket multi-piece wheels? If so sometimes the rivets become loose and air leaks.

i bought the car used and the previous owner had just gotten the tires and wheels installed. i haven't had any issues for the year since i've had it. i don't recall going over any bumps or potholes (i always avoid them with the wheels being 19" and all). the wheels are Miro 111s.
i'll do the soap test later this weekend. |

There could be a leak in the valve stem too. As others have mentioned the bead may need to be resealed or there could be a small crack in the wheel. I'd take it into the tire shop and they'll figure it out. You can do the soapy water trick, but even if you find a leak you're still going to have to go in to the tire shop and get it fixed.
