I've searched but can't find it. What part number did you use for just the M-Tech Steering Wheel cover? I thought the part number was: 32307906847, but it's shows up ast $84 from Morristownbmw so I think this part number might also include the multifunction switch. If anyone knows the part number for just the steering wheel cover with the M badge, I'd appreciate a response.

I ordered the wheel from the guy on ebay and would love to get the cover ordered ASAP. Thanks!

Sorry, it was 80.00 not 30.00, so that is probably the right part number.

I was considering getting both this Msport Steering Wheel and M5 wheels for my 330i, but I figured that I'm going to wait to enjoy such things in my new V8 M3 in about a year.

Is it possible to put M5 steering on 3 series? I don't think it can.. I know E90 share the steering with the 1ers though.
But yeah, definitely can't wait for the M3.. Just wish I can afford it..

Yeah, very helpful DIY indeed Bavarian.. I just did the conversion too.. Will post the pic when I gotta chance... Did you miss the step for the horn connectors? I did a conversion from the non-sport steering so I have to figure out where the connectors go. But it's pretty easy enough to figure from the pics..
Thanks to you..

I don't quite get the above instruction.. Is it really necessary? what light? the headlight? clarification needed.

Any one can confirm this step is necessary?

I can't confirm it other than the fact that I put my lights on when I reconnected the battery and all is fine. Since I worked on the wheel twice, I've done it twice and all is ok.
