Not sure what got worn? Is it a CA key or a non-CA key?

Yes its the CA control. All I'm looking for is the shell. I was in my back yard the other day and dropped my keys and my dogs got a hold of them and left them looking pretty bad. Everything still works.

I didn't see the relevance of the first question... However, are those what you need?

I see, i think the links above are probably what u r looking for but i have no idea how to expose the electronics inside the shell to replace the housing?

On the flip side... Why not just get a key cover to hide the damage?

Hey 335ivin, did you ever get the shell you ordered from eBay? Was it for Comfort Access. I tried searching eBay as well, and found the fob shells, (prices were anywhere from $7 to $60, and most came from outside of the US), but they all looked like they were for non-CA fobs.

I'm in the same boat as you, and I have been searching for days for a shell replacement that will work for my CA fob.

Please let me know if it worked for you, and where you found yours.

As far as opening the old fob to get to the circuit board, take a look at this post: (for anyone else interested)
