Sooner delivery advice

So my car should be at the dealer on Friday (11/17) and will be ready on Saturday but I won't be able to pick it up until Monday morning because my CA said his schedule is full on Saturday. Do you think my CA will just let me take delivery on Saturday if I just showed up in the afternoon with the money? Also, how long does the delivery process take? I don't really care about the whole training thing so I can just tell him to skip it to save time. Or should I call beforehand and take the chance of him telling me to not come even though he may have 20 minutes to spare. What is your advice? I seriously need to get this car ASAP or else someone is begging to get a hurting. ---> just for you Raayman.

edit: the only thing that needs to be done is for my CA to register the car. Does anyone know if that can be done within the same hour?

First of all, I can understand that you are anxious to get your new car, but in all fairness.... You've waited how long to get your car? Two months? Will the extra two days kill you? You would think that your dealer also wants to make money and get the cash as quickly as possible, but if his schedule is full I presume he is telling the truth. Just call the guy and ask him if he can do a quick handover without the training, and if not then it's just bad luck for you.

just puzzle me... it's just a car dude. You can be anxious, but beating someone up over some pieces of metal is just plane stupid and uncalled for.

I agree with Raayman...dropping in unannounced is not the professional thing to do. Give him a call, tell him what you want to do, and ask if he can squeeze you in somewhere. If not, just wait till Monday. Personally I would rather not rush and make sure everything is done correctly and filled out correctly so I don't have to make a return trip to the dealer.

Relax....

"Just showing up" would be a terrible way to handle things.

I agree with everyone, schedule a time that is good for both of you,you want to have them show you everything on the car plus you have to give them info for BMW assist if you have it, and they can pair your phone if you have blue tooth.Enjoy your new ride and be careful !

As hard as it may seem I would wait. You have to make sure the dealership has ample time to do their PDI as well as making sure your CA/SA has time to go over everything with you. 2 extra days isn't going to kill ya.

Sounds interesting.... care to explain...?

Anyways, might be the case, but on the web such things tend to backfire, unless it's really obvious and then you'll usually lose the joke in it. That's one of the reasons why they created smileys.

I feel for the OP - the wait would kill me. Especially since picking it up on Sat would mean you could spend all day Sunday driving your car in the daylight.

I work during the week so if this happened to me, I wouldnt be able to truly drive it until the following weekend since I work from dusk to dawm.

That would suck!
