Hey guys,
I just found out that my car just got discharged from the vessel at Halifax, NS, Canada. I wanted to know how long do the cars stay at VPC before they get shipped out to the dealer.

thanx man. But why did it take you 1 week to get your car after it arrived at SC (according to your sig)? thats fast considering that Miami and SC are about 600 miles apart!...lol...any ways, thanx, this gives me an idea of how loong i'd be waiting. I guess about anothrt 1 and a half weeks to go.

Im in a horrible position. My car arrived dec 24th into the NJ port and just go released on the 3rd to the VPC. Im hoping to get my car by at least next wed. and my dealer says he doenst think that will happen. Its the luck of the draw

ah that sucks, i wish that doesn't happen to me, because i don't think if i can wait even one more week. I'M LOSING MY FREAKIN' PATIENCE HERE!!!!
This wait sucks, BMW should build a factory here in NA. It would be so much nicer.

No way...let the factory say in Germany. That way we can still have our European deliveries and save a ton of money on the cars. I wait an extra 2 weeks in order to save 6K

I think mine got in around the 27th or 28th and I don't think it has even been released to VPC...cycler, how did you find out yours was at the VPC? The dealer?

I contacted the 877 # for Euro delivery. They in turn contacted NJ where the ship docked and they called me back telling be my car was released to VPC that day.

My car took 3 days but, I think that's not the norm. There are guys still waiting at the VPC that were on the same ship as me although, I think they are European Delivery.

Also, if your car isn't European Delivery you can either contact your CA or the "800" number although that number usually has a 1-2 day lag just like the Owner's Circle website.

since the car left the factory till today, when ever i called the 1 800 number, it just says in transit. But i hope it changes to "At VPC" soon considering the 2 day delay that you mentioned.
