Logic 7 Speakers
Peeps,
What is the RMS rating for Logic 7 mids and tweets please ? Reason I ask is that I have bought a PDX 4 100 which is rated at 4 x 100W RMS. The plan was orginally just to drive some new SWS8's but thought I could use the remaining 2 channels to drive the fronts but didnt want to blow the Logic 7's. Thoughts ?

Probably around 40 watts. If you set the gains right, you will be fine.

If I am not wrong, hi-fi are 40W.
And L7 are 70W according to TIS print out. Omaragha, go for old method and use voltmeter to set the correct gains.

Kaigoss, off the topic, but what is safe cross over point for Vibe slick mids. And should they be running on Full range or high pass if there is no MS-8 in the system?

I have no experience with the Vibes but generally speaking, 4" speakers will not respond too well if you feed them frequencies below 100Hz. That is their motors cannot handle the excursion necessary to produce those notes at the required volume. Since the crossover does not totally eliminate the frequencies below the crossover point, you also need to take the crossover slope into account. I have found that 150Hz with a 24dB/oct slope, or 250Hz with a 12dB/oct slope are the "safe" settings that worked for me. That's not to say though that you cannot blow a 4" mid with those settings, so take the advice with a grain of salt!
