Once in a while, I'll be on a trip and suddenly recognize a place from my childhood. That's always exciting, and, these days, it's pretty easy to find out more about the history of the place. There was one time that my wife and I were touring the Biltmore estate in Asheville, NC, and I recognized the indoor swimming pool in the basement. I later asked my dad if we'd gone there when I was a kid, and he was sure that we hadn't. So I'm not sure what to make of that experience! Rick |

Nice photos! I loved it there, and I'd like to go back and see some of the other waterfalls in the area. Or at least the ones that don't require rapelling to get to! Rick |

Thanks! I'll keep 'em coming all right. You might also enjoy a couple of posts from Pistonheads: Testing & Touring with my First Aston Martin Aston Martin vs. Ford Model T at the Lincoln Highway Don't worry--I still have the mighty 335i as well, and it will feature in many more trips! Rick |

Yep, that happens to me all the time... Speaking of board tracks, you might like to check out the one I found in the New Jersey Pine Barrens a couple of years ago: The Jersey Devil, World Wars, and Racetracks Old and New. You never know what's lurking in the woods! Rick |
