LED Angel Eyes Bulbs Fitted

Just thought i would upload a quick pic of the LED Angel Eye bulbs i had fitted recently. Crap BlackBerry pic as per usual but gives you the idea. You can hardly tell they are on in broad daylight but come dusk and they look awsome. They are really bright - much much brighter than stock bulbs and so much so that the other night i drove for an hour after it grew dark with just the angels on. They shine a slightly blue white but do look really good against the white car and i prefer them to the yellow glow of the stock bulbs. I got them from me old mate Ted at SSDD in case anyone fancies some.

Steve

Did you fit these yourself - they look superb. Thought I'd finished with my mods when I put the front splitter on, but now I'm not so sure. Damn you.

Yeh, sorry Light - its hard to avoid the bluebottles and midges at 150mph!!! Will be giving it a good bath later if the weather holds!!
Ed - im afraid im the sort of guy that pays people to do everything for him - im mechanically inept!! But apparently they are pretty easy to fit.... "apparently" being the operative word!!!

Can I ask, do angeleyes follow the same potential legal requirements as HID kits will probably soon? i.e. is this just a straightforward replacement that will not have any effect to the car passing an MOT in the future?

I have always liked the look of the angel eyes - how do they compare in terms of power at night to the standard lights? I always worry they look like there's not much light coming off them small circles if that makes sense!?

Anyone know any places in Yorkshire that sell these so that I don't just have to order online?

Angel Eyes are only essentialy side-lights, not dim beam head-lights.

The LED's definatly look great at night, NAZ had them when we did UK7 and like Steve has mentioned you can't seem them in daylight (I thought he had them switched off) like you can normal halogen lamps.

I have the GP Thunder 8500k's and they look much whiter than the OE H8 lamps, but not as bright at night as the LED ones...

In know it's not an E9x, but I have these fitted to my E60. As said already, a bit disappointing during the day...but at dusk
