Cars with front console cupholder cooler, youre robbing your face of cold air!

So I didnt do a DIY, but the other day while driving with my center console out I noticed a ton of cold air coming out of two tubes directly under the dash (basically where the front ashtray/oddments tray will be. On a whim will sitting at a red light I covered both tubes with my hands, and wouldnt you know it the air coming out of the top vents very noticeably got way more aggressive.
After brainstorming for a bit I remembered I had some upholstery foam in the garage, so I proceed to trim some and simply plug these tubes up, and then re-install my center console.
I am very happy with the results, as previously even on max cool I have never been that impressed with the blower motor efficiency of my E92...Now I am very impressed.
Moral of the story is that unless you are constantly cooling beverages in that front console, do this mod and be happy and a few degrees cooler for the remainder of the summer months.

Those tubes are suppose to be connected to the rear air vents.

And on their way to rear air is used to make your drink cold.
