Tortilla Flats is a fun road, tight road, no guard rail with some very long drops if you go off. Be careful of the dirt and dust on the road from the wind storms(nothing like a surprise patch of dirt in a sharp turn). Also be careful of the "racers" that do not understand that 2 cars cannot occupy the same space at the same time. Came around a turn once and was looking at the front end of someone coming at me in both lanes. I was on the inside of the turn so I had nowhere to go. He went offroading. Luckily it was not one of the sections with the long drops.

Did Tortilla flats this morning with a few the Arizona BMW Crew. Got to the top of the mountain before sunrise, which made for some epic pictures. A few of us had cameras if you want to check it out on Facebook and I believe there's a thread on r3v as well.

Awesome pictures on here and Facebook! I've been wanting to do a morning run of Tortilla Flats so hopefully I catch the next one. The picture above the text, where is this on the run? I looked on Google Maps through the whole route and where I thought it would be (behind the buildings on the main road that a ton of people usually stop at... think there is a bar there) to no avail.

Saw a white E92 today in Tucson with a blacked vinyl roof.
Anyone from here? Wondering where they had it done. Anyone know shops in the area to do gloss black vinyl to the roof? |

Heads up for AZ owners! Today is "drift & drag" at Firebird Raceway. A few guys are going out, and its tons of fun even if you're just watching.. $10 cover, $20 to drag, $40 to drift, $50 to drift and drag.
I wont be able to make it, but just wanted to throw it out there for everyone else!
