Breathing easy with new cabin air filter

Seriously, find the 5 minutes and get this taken care of, my old filter (CPO, not sure when it was changed) was nasty, and it was due next month apparently. For under 30 bux, and 5 minutes of your time, totally worth it!

if still under warranty, they are changed at every scheduled maintenance.

Nope, I just did a low mileage oil change @ Parkview and they did not replace the micro filter in my car. My receipt said that no filter was replaced.

Yah I have to do mine. I noticed how dirty it was when I installed my PBX. There is no way they changed it lately. I've even wondering if it was ever changed at all.

$30? Did you buy it from the dealership or somewhere else?

Oh maybe that's why. I just had my 50k... But the car has 5 years... They should consider time too.

Oil changes are 1yr or 24k kms, whichever comes first.

A "Low mileage oil change" is what they call the 1yr oil change with the mileage is less than what the computer is indicating for a change. And the service indicator is not reset when this is done. So, in my case, I had two oil changes in less than 5months

Precision Tuning in the GTA, always finds good OEM stuff.. the filter is MANN, and was identical to the replaced filter.

Very thorough explanation....

I drive about 12,000 - 15,000 km per year so my car's mileage never meet the schedule oil change requirement .
Does anyone here knows what is covered and/or included in the new car's 4 years schedule maintenance coverage?
