Turtle Wax Black Box
Anyone used Turtle Wax Black Box on Sapphire Black? Have seen positive reviews on non-flake black, e.g., Jet Black, but haven't seen any feedback on a black that's got flake in it.

Looks like a lot of marketing to me. Nothing is magic in the world of detailing. If you want anything near perfection, prep work is key. And you'll need more than a cleaner wax and detail spray.

Its supposed to be good for what it is. Its not incredibly expensive, and is supposed to really help hide imperfections on black cars... but only for maybe a month. Sounds like a nice show prep to use if you don't have the money or time to have your car properly cared for.

My neighbor really liked using it. He showed me what came in the box briefly. It appears to be four bottle multi-step. He said that it was black whatever that filled in the scratches.

I tried it. Its basically a filler. However it did a pretty good job. It was messy like hell though.

i would def recommend using a clay bar on your car before using the black box wax kit. I used the kit for my car all the time and love it. it may make some of the flakes seem dull due to the nature of the wax. i would suggest you try it on a small portion then see the results there before doing your whole car.
