Thanks for the suggestions. If I get a pile of snow on the car, I'll just brush off the upper levels of the snow and stay away from the finish. Anything remaining will probably melt in my garage.

I do the same thing as many others. I simply wipe the windows off. Or if its really bad just take the top layer of snow off the car. I dont bother with brushes I just use my hands. Plus its fun to piss people off behind you with snow flying off you car and hitting their windshield

I have a brush with blue bristles that are softer for the last inch. i also only wipe the snow off the windows not paint

When i need to clear snow off the windows i keep a bottle of windsheild washer fluid in an old spray bottle in the house. That way it keeps warm for morning use. Just spray the fluid on the snow covered window and it will brush right off.

Doesn't anybody get that wiping billions of tiny ice crystals (made up of trillions of tiny ice shards) off the paint would do tons more damage to the paint than the brush being used?
