waffle weave is the only thing i use to dry the car. i use the costco mf on the wheels, door jams, and interior. i got some decent ones from there before that i used to remove wax etc, but the best for drying is a waffle weave. it just holds so much water!

You guys like washing with those ones that look like they are green dreads? I've always used the natural fiber (wool or whatever) but they are getting difficult to find these days. I've squeezewd those dread ones and just not sure I like the feeling . . .

I like to say, at least for those of us in the "better" west coast climate, that it really doesn't matter. If you have severe weather (e.g. snow), it might be a different story trying to remove the elements. However, if you keep your car in good, clean shape, I'd like to say with a nice wax coat that if you are using a worthwhile soap, short of using sandpaper, you should be fine (exaggerating of course).
