How to measure rim width with the tire on?
I have this set of 17'' 162 reps that I use for my winter set. I'd like to mount a set of DRs to use at the strip but I have no idea how wide these rims are. Is there any way to properly measure these rims with the tires on them so I know if they're 8 or 8.5 wide?

As a guideline I'd say the overall width is about 1" more than listed. So an 8" wide wheel will measure about 9" overall.
