WOW, I hope I never piss any of you guys off.
I was at Ivo's shop on Wednesday and meeting with Boltords for the first time and giving him some Plasti Dip, (very nice guy, but you should ask him about his E46 M3 ). Anyways Ivo told me that KarKid had his E90 there de-modding it, because now he has a MB, but has not seen it yet. I just hope that he does not dis Ivo on the job he is doing for him.

Wow, I chilled with him a few times and he was really unreliable when it came to certain things. Seemed like a nice guy just unreliable and talked alot of shit. Pretty brutal he burned alot of people on here. I have no problem with him but that ain't cool

LOL @ thread
He was quite reliable with me and communication was good too... Got lucky I suppose! Don't have any beef with him and don't know his past history to pass judgement. He was quite excited about picking up the C63 though. |

Good read - sounds like a real POS. Seemed like a dipsh*t when he first started posting about his business, guess its true what they say about first impressions.

Nothing personal with the guy, but a few members recommended him for wrapping, when I saw his car in person it looked like an amateur job, but then he told me that was his "first test" and now he had a shop and could do a pro job, I guess good thing I did not go to him.
It is a shame that people behave like that, but I think there is a lesson: not just because you are a member in the forum or did a good job / nice service once you are trustworthy... we should all consider a long history of feedback before recommending.

Same thing with the flat white e92 on these forums....looked really cool in pics on the forums...but was not feeling it when I saw it in person. Also deterred me from wanting to wrap my car. There is only one person I know of in the East Canada forums that wrapped his own E90 and it looked like a pro job. Other than that, I have seen some pretty crappy wraps in person.....unless its actually done by a professional. Though Karkid has said he took a course overseas and was licensed to do wraps?!?!? Both Soni (Mini) and Saturn (Maserati) had their cars wrapped by professionals, and they look really good in person. |
