don't really want to go through selling my currently installed mmp inlets to purchase a set of 2" inlets and paying to have those installed as well

just keeping budget in mind

I hear you, that being said you are still better off upgrading to 2"

I believe the 335 at the bottom of this link was the first to have stage 2's installed and at the time made 683whp with stock size compressor inlet size

I was the PURE stage 2 BETA tester and I had the 1.75" stock inlet size with TFT inlets. I made 683whp/629wtq so, running the Hi-Flows without the 2" inlets isn't a make or break in my eyes. Take into consideration though that I was running the TFT inlets which might flow better. If I were you since you'll be swapping turbos, you may as well go the extra yard and make the 2" switch.

I also this you will be fine with the stock 1.75 compressor inlets. As long as you have aftermarket silicone inlets you will be fine. I also have the pure stage 2 dd with stock size inlets running the rb 1.75 inlets.

If you are looking to squeeze out every last bit of power it would matter but if you are running a conservative tune anyway and you already have aftermarket inlets it won't leave too much power on the table.

However, already going through the install process, adding new inlets is fairly easy in the grand scheme of the install, I'd personally do the 2" inlets while doing the new turbos.

Well i already have my DD's in hand after a small shipping mixup and at this point to complete the high flow upgrade i would have to eat the shipping costs both ways and no discount on the $500 upgrade. I purchased the DD's during the 15% off sale which was great....guess i should have thought it through further during the initial purchase.

wish the Canadian exchange was slightly better than it still sits at.

does anyone know if the stock size machined turbo inlet snouts are supposed to have the bead roll on them just as the 2" snouts do?

From what I remember, they don't.
