Is it "rice" to put quads on a 328?

It's frowned upon to put dual exhaust let alone quads in the Honda/Acura community when your car comes stock with a single dual-tip muffler so just wondering what are the rules when it comes to the BMW.

I really like the look... but will not do it if it's rice.

Do whatever you like to your car. You can put oct-tips or have no tips, people will have their opinions.

No I don't think its "rice" to do that. The 3 series coupe and sedans were both designed with dual exhaust outputs in the rear bumper in mind because of the 335 and M3. Therefore, it works with the 328 too even if its not from the factory that way. The reason the Honda/Acura community despises duals or quads on a Civic is because a Civic is just that, a Civic. Those cars were never meant to have duals or quads, it just doesn't look right. And there is also no possible way to have a true dual exhaust from the I4 motor.

...yet it's ok to attach a park bench to a Civic and call it a "spoiler".

go for quad for sure! but go for the 335 style or m3 style quad.

like the eisenmann quad.i don't like it coz, the left, right exhaust tips too wide. doesn't look good at all.

the 328i exhaust tips are spaced out too wide on the car and doesn't look that good IMO with quads.

Quads look good, but on a 3 series I'm a bigger fan of duals. Just some real nice clean duals.

Of course I have. An S2000 isn't a Civic and it has a dual exhaust setup from the factory. It was designed that way, because it's a roadster bred from Honda's racing experience. Civics and Integras are considered economy cars and a dual exhaust setup has no place on the rear of those cars. It just looks silly.
