rim repair or new rims
hey,
need a opinion on something.. I just got a quote to refinish my rims (all 4 have some curb rash, some worst than the others). it would cost about 600 to refinish... I'm in a debate on getting a new set or just refinishing them.... the only reason its a debate is because I really like these set of rims... they are a set of Miro 111's What are your thoughts... with a 600 price tag would you get a new set or refinish the rims?

150 per rim is a reasonable price. Which store did you go to?
I would say spend the money in your way you want. It's your money. but if you really like the rim style and you are going to refinish, y not go for a new color. then maybe you won't debate anymore |

A friend of mine told me about these guys: Leprecon 219 Connie Crescent unit 3 concord Checked reviews seemed pretty good. I was thinking to try a fully blacked out look as well. I've had the silver and black for while.

Considering that a set of those rims brand spanking new is about $1100, and you are paying $600 for paint alone and not straightening, then I'd say maybe it be worth it to get new wheels.
Sell those used ones As Is for a small profit return. |

Unless you really want to switch up the style or size or your wheels, it makes more sense to refinish the ones you have and save yourself $500 or whatever the difference between repair and a new set would cost you. Also park more carefully in the future
