E90 post experts...educate me

After a member got yelled at by a bunch of "tards on reps" because he called his car "slammed" while it was "just lowered", can we someone define the definition of "slammed" please?

Just so we're all on the same page? I wouldn't want anybody else get told to change his thread title because his car isn't slammed, but just lowered.

The simple answer:
Some people on here have no life and need to get out more. Ripping everyone else seems to make them feel better. Hey whatever makes your soda fizz pop

That said, so long as it makes you happy that is all that matters-enjoy your car in great health.

Life is short. Some folks on here these days are just kids who don't realize this yet.

PS the ones about to attack me are the ones that are most guilty- bear this in mind- a life lesson.

Slammed=virtually undriveable without looking like an idiot going sideways on any slope on public roads.

Lowered=anything between slammed and stock sport suspension

I saw that thread, didn't comment on it but I thought the e90 guys here were being jerks (some of them usually are).

I do think though that sometimes people start a thread for absolutely no reason (to take up space on the forum maybe?). What's slammed? google is such great search engine and so is urban dictionary

+2. There are people who feel entitled for whatever reason. Lives up to the "BMW drivers are dbags" stereotypes.

That being said there is plenty of smart, friendly people on this forum which makes me keep coming back.

Most likely because they were flamed and want to flame someone else to make them feel better. I saw that thread but did not say anything and could care less if it was a misleading title. As once said "if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say it at all"

Welcome to the interweb. Unfortunately this type of thing seems to come with the turf. I saw that post and did comment, but I tried to keep is respectful while commenting the car is not slammed.

It didn't even look lowered to me.... Nice wheels on it though!
