Ordered today

a new 335d M Sport Touring .
Basically ive been looking for a used vehicle with Logic 7 and a sunroof for the last month and it got to the point that it just wasnt going to happen so i bit the bullet and ordered one through Coast2Coast

Got a cracking deal from a nice bloke called Gordon and within an hour i had a main dealership ring me and confirm my order and it should arrive late May

Heres my spec :

Wow! That's some car and some spec! A perfect choice I'd say.

I'll be looking at the E91 this year, but it'll probably come down to a 320d/325d with toys or maybe a pretty basic 335d.

Hi Scoot,
You have a great spec ordered up there!! I also wanted to go for a ex-demo car but there were 3 things against me.

I could not get an M Sport coupe as they are none about yet.
I needed isofix for the front seat (my wife would not let me get another coupe unless it had this for the wee man's seat)
My main 'must haves' were Logic 7 and sunroof.

I also went thru Gordon at Coast2Coast. They do seem to get you a great deal. I am now awaiting my E92 335d for a mid-May delivery.
Did he also put you onto Chandlers of Angmering?
I think it is because they get you a corporate contact is why you can get such good discount.

I never heard of these guys before until a guy 'giZZe' over at BMWland give me the info.

Anyway congrats and good luck.

DO coast2coast do part exchange? As it involves a dealer you would think so. Did you p/x?

I bought mine from Broadspeed and they also use the Cooper group dealers. I saved around £4000 on mine. I think all these discounts that are available will not help the future depreciation though as the second hand prices will be based on the discounted prices irrespective of whether you got a discount or not.

True but at least you got a good discount , many are still only getting a few thousand off . I got just under £6000 off the retail price with coast but im still going to lose about £10000 in the first year min

Fantastic spec. Very similar to mine. I went for black after deliberating black/silver and finally went for black. When its clean it looks phenomenal. Silver looks good too, but black looks monsterous- what the 335d deserves!

I like yourself waited a short while and realised I wasn't gonna get a sunroof and CA and finally ordered new.

I'm thinking of DMS too. Never had it before. Would you recommend it and why?

Sounds a brilliant car. There was some talk at the UK3 meet about the 335d remap not being ready yet. One of the other guys could fill you in on the details but I'd wait to hear about some successful maps being done before jumping in. And then come to a meet and take me for a spin in it

I am hoping that the logic 7 lives up to my expectations. I currently have the HK and really like it. Think it is very clean without being too OTT.

Am hoping the Logic 7 will be even better!!

Gordon @ Coast2Coast seemed to imply in an email to me that he could arrange p/x. I need to call him to discuss. I know Broadspeed said p/x was possible at 'book value'.

Hi, We always contact BMW to confirm lead times. Currently the biggest delay is the 335i Coupe which is currently July / August. Most other coupes are May / June delivery.

Bye for now

Gordon,

Are you discounting E93's at all?
What are you currently quoting as a lead time for a 325i M-Sport convertible?
