Hanging RPMs Between Shifts?
Occasionally in between shifts - i.e, when clutch is depressed and foot is off the gas - the RPMs will hang for a minute before dropping. Under high boost conditions (~ 15-16 psi lately in 30 degree ambient temp with the V5 on my otherwise stock car) the RPMs occasionally increase a small amount before dropping.
Anyone have insight or experience with this? |

Yes, I am experiencing this and I suppose it is a feature from BMW in order to avoid a big RPM drop between shifts. I noticed it is more pronounced when lifting the foot off the throttle fast, and less pronounced when lifting it more slowly.
