Diesel Performance Tuning E92/E93 320d LCI 2011

Hi People

What would be the best tuning company to go for or has any had their lci tuned recently, 320d E92/ E93 lci,

currently the bph is 184 - torque 380/1900-2750,

what is minimum output, the average output and top output that you would likely to expect

When did the 320d start coming out the factory with 184HP. Thats the same as the old old 330d.

If they only recently have started to come out with this power they may have a newer ECU which may not have been cracked yet. Although I am unsure on this.

Estimated power would/could be as high as 220-230HP.

March build onward, Carlos, pretty bloomin' good, eh? Fuel consumption has dropped, and they are less than 130 g/km. BMW make stunning engines (although I haven't driven the 185, I have ordered one).

Dunno if anyone can map them at the minute..

Yeah, very impressive I think.

If they aint already tunable, when they are Im sure it will be a corker.

Yeah, I'd suspect that new version isn't tuneable yet....thats a pretty impressive torque figure......with Evolve, the 177 version went up to 220bhp and 340 torque (which made the transmission grumble a little) if I remember correctly....

Just got mine 2 days ago

Just received delivery of my 2010 320d M-Sport Touring with the 184 bhp, it is very nice....my first BMW after having the 170 bhp Audi A4, Soooo much quicker.

If anyone hears of a tuning box or similar for this model then please let me know, I'll continue to scour the internet!

Hi Invent, not many options as couldn't afford too much, went for visibility pack, storage pack, folding mirrors, the M-sport comes pretty well stocked, didn't need sat nav or bluetooth so just went for a couple of bits.

Good to know that DTUK have them now! Cheers

Will post a better pic on a nicer day!

Was hoping the 177bhp Spider box may be swappable to my new 184bhp 320d due Aug/Sept but I haven't checked yet. I think I know the answer already ..... £50 to re programme if its possible at all. Best start looking.

I've recently placed an order for a 184BHP 320d, is there any update on plug and play tuning boxes for this engine revision?

I like the sound of the spider, if it's as good as it's supposed to be then the fuel economy during day-to-day driving should be unaffected but on those occasions when the car is booted (such as overtaking a 2CV on a sweeping B-road) it should induce a much bigger grin?
