Are you still looking to get $600 for the set? My parents live in Franklin and they might be able to bring them to me the next time they come to visit...

Welcome to UT College of Dentistry, and good call on the last minute switch. Dentistry is the better profession. I'm a D4 getting ready to start up the semester again next Tuesday.
Getting excited yet?? Where are you planning on living? It'll be nice to see another BMW parked at the school.

My wife and I found a townhouse at State Place, which is very close to the South Bluffs apartments. We walked over to the bbq competition in May when we signed our lease. Now that was some good eatin! If you have any words of wisdom or tips for a D1, I'm all ears!

Yeah, they start you off slow, though, so you'll be able to ease into it. Really those first couple of weeks (as far as I remember) were pretty enjoyable. It's a lot of orientation, getting to know each other, and getting out early.
My wife and daughter and I live in Bartlett which is just east of Memphis - about 20 minutes from the school. I can't think of any words of wisdom off hand, but if you have any questions at all, feel free to give me a call anytime. Jesse 801-318-3367 (c)

Just dropped my wheels/tires to $500 plus shipping. Obviously local pickup would be free.

Anyone in Tennessee have a 335 coupe with the BMW Performance Suspension? Or has anyone done the carbon fiber wrap on their interior trim pieces? These are the two mods I'm currently thinking of doing, but would love to see them on someone else's car in person first.

What % tint are people in TN running? I have 30% on my car now, but I want to go darker on the 135. Anyone have issues with a darker tint and cops?

I have 20 percent all around. I live in a town where the cops are known to be pretty on top of their game. Apparently they all carry the meters, but I have yet to be pulled over. I've heard if you get pulled over, just roll down your windows, or at least open your sunroof to let some more light in. I don't know if they can force you to roll your windows up to check them (I would guess they can), but in any event, you probably don't want to piss them off...

Greetings!!!
Hey there fellow vols! I'm new to the forum, and happened to search TN....man I've always wanted to see a regional forum that people actually use, glad I found it. I used to post on bfest...before I had to let go of my first baby. I just traded in my 88 e30 cab. to help with the cost of a newer car. I just picked up an 07 328 with 24k miles for the wifes daily driver.(funny....BMW was out of the question until we decided she would drive whatever we bought) Thankfully its so much fun that I'm not feeling horible about loosing the 88! Plus it was time for a HUGE repair bill...and I got tired of sinking money into it. I look forward to joining the new generation of bimmer love. Hopefully I can sneek some mods in while the wife isn't watching and come hang at any local gatherings. On that note...is there any email list to sign up for or anything for us Tennesseans?...other than this. Look forward to gettin to know everybody...see ya around.
*I put a link to some pics of the ole' girl in my sig....if it worked, they're from The Dragon (US Hwy 129 outside Knoxville)

Damn I have not been on here in a good bit....well posted for that matter. Been really busy. Im leaving for Europe tomorrow, then heading off to college.
Im going to College of Charleston if anyone is wondering as well. I still have the BMW...in its low(coilovers still, loud(still have exhaust), and slow(its a 330i) glory. I have recently seen a 335i coupe with Texas plates I think that was modded to hell. It was lowered, had 19's (forget the brand), it was TiAg, had a CSL style trunk, and an exhaust. Im not sure how long I will actually have the car for, but a year at most. I do still love BMW, but want something a little bit quicker and better handling. The better handling part might be hard because I have yet to get into a vehicle that handles better than my car (even my friends S2000 does not feel better). I feel this post is worthless, but I just felt like checking in. P.S. I do have a few things for sale if anyones needs or wants anything. I would consider selling my M-tech bodykit if anyone has a Titanium Silver car, but other than that I only have M6 reps for sale. One wheel has a bend and rash on it, but every other wheel is perfect. I also have 4 19x9.5 et40 Rays G-game wheels. If anyone wants a track setup, then these wheels might be for them, unless they would rather run 18's. The Rays wheels need a spacer to work I am pretty sure, but just throwing that out there.

Have you all heard about the MVasion meet? No affiliation in anyway, but apparently a lot of people have registered and it's going to be pretty big.
