E90 LCI - ET35 Up front

So I am running 19x8.5 et35 up front on a 225/35 series tire. I am lowered, fenders are not rolled, would prefer NOT to. No rubbing and the clearance in the wheel well seems tight esp when I crank the wheel the whole way, but again not rubbing. My wheel still seems a little tucked, just wondering if anyone is running a similar set-up with a more agressive off-set on a lowered car, w/no roll? If so, what specs and do you rub at all?

E90 right? Are your fenders rolled? Any modifications to the wheel well?

I just don't see how that could fit esp considering the tire size and wheel width! I can barely get my finger between the wheel well and my tire when I crank the wheel the whole way over.

E90. The front fenders are not rolled at all and no modifications. I have Bilstein PSS9's, set to the highest setting (which is still extremely low). Camber is set to -1.0 degree.

I appreciate the feedback. Can't view the photos from my work computer for some reason, but reading through your posts it appears you are rubbing up front.

A 5mm spacer could work for you because of your tire size. We recommend a 235 for a 19x8.5 so since you're running a slightly narrower tire you could space the wheels out a tad.

That rubbing was with a bad alignment. The shop did not set the camber properly (they had one side set to -0.6 and one side set to -0.9). After going up to -1.0 for both, the rubbing went away.

Thanks Kevin, but now that you mention it, I think I am running a 235/35, sorry for the confusion. Do you still think that would be okay?

With a 5mm spacer you still might be able to pull it off. I can't guarantee it though since it isn't exactly our recommended fitment with the added spacer.

You can run 9.5" et20 with a 225 and not rub.

i may try 19x8.5 245 et23 once i do the m3 front control arm conversion. hopefully there will be enough camber

I'm currently running a 235/35 nitto nt555 19x8.5 et23 (with 10mm spacer) up front with no rubbing and lowered on the Eibach Pro Kit, OEM Performance Shocks and SP Perch. I'll post a close up pic later tonight.

Yes. I have 18x9.5" et19 225/40 and do not rub.

I apprciated all of the replies and input. I am leaning towards trying the MS 5mm spacers sold by eas.

Depending how the fronts go may try 3mm spacers in the back running with
a 265/30 series tire.

Woudl love to see those pics! I am runnign the same wheel/tire size and suspension set-up and I just don't see how et23 would work unless your fenders were pulled/rolled.

mrj25 found this post/pics of your car running et34 w/5mm spacers. guess this was before you up-sized your spacers. so you didn't get any rubbing on the fender liner when going over dips or when you cranked the front wheel as far as it would go?

No rub in the front and rear at all. I upsized the front to a 10mm and the wheels do not poke out as aggressive as I thought it would. I tried having the 10mm on the rear but it rubbed as I do have the fenders rolled. It looked really nice but I needed a ride that felt comfortable so I experimented the 10mm up front and put the 5mm on the rear and so far so good. I had 2 passengers in the rear and 1 up front and no rub at all. Here are pics I took just right now at the park. Excuse me for my wheel center caps as I do have custom vinyl black overlays on the way for my Varrstoen 1.1.2.

Thanks for the pics. So you say you are rolled in the back or was that a typo? If you're rolled I won't likely be able to fit 5mm in the back then since I am not rolled and I have no plans to roll. Maybe could get away with 3mm in the rear.

What brand spacer are you running? Any vibration issues at speed?

BTW, your car looks great!
