Where and when in HK do you like to drive your BMW the most?

Compared to other places, travel distance and time in a car isn't that much in Hong Kong. I don't necessarily drive everyday, but still, I enjoy getting behind the wheel of my BMW alot (except when I am stucked in traffic, haha). Sometimes after a long hard day at work, driving my bimmer home is quite refreshing and relaxing. It gives me a little "zen" time to be alone. Sometimes I may not be going to any particular destination but simply to take my car for a spin. So where and when do you like to drive your BMW in Hong Kong?

Sunday mornings and chinese new year, all around hong kong and kowloon. There's no traffic and nobody. We are gifted by all the nice scenery, windy roads and good morning food which makes our drive more worthwhile!

depends where you start....
for me if you live on hong kong island, i would drive later at night (but also higher risk of seeing the 5-0s)...i like the shek-o drive...but quite narrow
stubbs road is my favorite, repulse bay road is also nice...but can't forget the long stretches of eastern corridor towards the western district area - no cameras on gloucester

Nice. I like to drive whenever the road gets twisty and with nice green scenery. Sai Kung, Clear Water Bay, Tai Mo Shan are the places I like, and yeah Shek O too.

A nice drive is Tai Mei Tuk to Luk Keng. Tai Mo Shan and the route from Stanley to Shek O.

I do Central -> Peak -> Repulse Bay -> Tai Tam -> Shek O -> Tai Tam -> Repulse Bay -> Deep Water Bay -> Peak (via Nan Fung road, careful of 5-0 here at night though!)

I do early morning (6-7am) drives during the weekday. No 5-0, no traffic. perfect conditions

Come to think of it, that road (forget the name) at South Lantau from Mui Wo to Tai O would be a great drive with relatively few traffic and great scenery. But too bad you need a permit. Anyone actually driven on that road before? Who else would want to drive there?
