Calling all Bimmers!!!

Hey Guys! I'm starting up a page on facebook called Charlotte Bimmers. Basically it's for anyone in the charlotte area, or anywhere really. I want to start organizing meet-ups, cruises, shows and other fun stuff for us BMW fans in the area.

If you could swing by and drop a like that would be awesome, I really want to make this happen! Let others know as well, it's not strictly E90's, but all Bimmers!

Wouldnt just making a FB group be easier? You can actually see who is in the group and stuff.

It's not actually, because it's only available to your friends. Not publicly searchable.

Thats not true at all. You can just search the name of the group or partial name and it shows up. All I am saying is that ATLBimmers(that I am in) FB group works amazing and there are over 300 people in the group. Plus you can actually see who is in it. Just trying to help

Hmm, I really don't know then Im new to facebook. I made a group first and i couldn't do any of the things i wanted to do. So then I made a page.

I appreciate the help tho!

It's ok to do both. Just post a link to the group from the page. But as Dylanize said before, the group functions better. Create a closed group. Its easy for people to post topics and comment on things and you can control everything and create events that only members can see. Post the link for the group here and ask people to join. It will build slowly but surely. I'm at 315 members now and I started my club in 2011.
