E90LCI Msport conversion Question..
What's missing from my list?
I've kind of been going about this the long way (I have a feeling) with getting parts but so far so good, I found a thread on here a year ago about ordering a bumper from Ebay and the UK so I jumped on one I found for a decent deal (they are missing the marker lights) so it made sense vs filling in holes with bondo to me. I have the following parts:
I know I am missing the fog light brackets (l&r) as well as a piece for the wheel wells. What about "bumper guides" I think I read somewhere I may need new ones or can I take them off of my OEM bumper. (maybe that was for the rear) I'll read more Anything else that I may be missing or tips/tricks by all means comment below. Last edited by JDMKS; 05-27-2015 at 10:16 AM.. |

If you're doing pre-LCI to LCI, you need a new hood too. Some people have made it fit with the old hood, but it honestly looks like a hack job.

Damn this kinda ruined my day, my car(2009 e90 335i sport) is in the paint shop and I'm about to order the msport front and rear bumpers, I'm glad I researched a bit more...the front is not oem msport, it is a replica, and now I have to confirm that it is lci, as pre lci will not work with my lci hood and other parts... I've searched like mad and can't confirm a perfect list of parts for my car, let us know how your install goes bud, I can really use the feedback

I just need to bite the bullet and do it already, I am also getting custom side skirt extensions made and hopefully a front lip (may be able to replicate them both) and help the E9X community out more |

Yeah it irks me to not have it 100%. The total when I am done should be lower I got some deals off Ebay UK on the bumper and what not and fogs (Ebay) so that saved some $. The rest will have to be an OEM/Dealer option. |

Jeeez, i got the msport kit, with the exception of the sideskirts, only ones avail were m3 skirts, not too bad,...well...the shop fit the rear on perfectly, the front not so nice, there is about a 1/4 " gap on the corners near the headlights, and the m3 sideskirts are a nightmare, they need a whole new different set of brackets, my car has been in the shop for almost 3 months I have basically given up trying to get them to finish the job....I am very unhappy, another deal is i cannot find the lower grilles and fog brackets for the lci msport, there are non lci brackets but they aren't compatible...I hope your conversion is smoother than mines

Pretty easy to find (all special order at this point from a dealer though) I even looked on the UK ebay site. I also was going to see if my dad (who is a machinist) would just make me some if they are too hard to get |
