sup everyone. i purchased my 06 330i monacco blue in april of this year. good to see theres a thread just for us. my car has 61k, steptronic, xenon lights, logic 7, sports pack, premium pack, leather and wood interior, and idrive navigation. its cpo and free maintenance until october of this year. i love this car. i traded in my 04 325i for it. looking to mod it but still checking around. ive taken it in twice in the period if 2 weeks last month. first time my starter motor needed to be replaced and two weeks later for replacement of steering angle sensor. both were paid under warrant ($50 deductible). im debating to get an extended warranty for peace of mind. but from what ive read the 330i is very relaible. also being that im new to the car ive heard the 06 330i was only in production for one year. is that true? also heard that the ones with idrive navigation were in less than 3% of them. i like the fact that i have one of the only 300i's out there. i havent seen any other 330i's around my town let alone the same color. any feedback would be welcomed and greatly appreciated.more pics coming soon.

This might be a little off topic,but looking for black out lines around the front and rear doors... Where the hell do I find that for sale?

You take the car to a paint shop or you trade with a person who has a 328i or 325i

Thanks. I thought maybe you can wrap those in vinyl or something. I didn't know if there was a kit out there for sale. There were plenty of kits available for my MINI.

its called "shadowline".

and yes people have tried all 3 methods... painting, vinyl wrapping, and straight up oem replacement.

Thanks. Yep, that's what I'm looking for. I will search the site. Anyone have any experience with which one works the best for a competitive price? I mean I don't want to drop $1k into shadowline.

I tried vinyling, but wasn't successful. You have to get really pliable vinyl, and it's not very durable. I decided to just get mine sanded and painted matte black. I paid $350 but I went to a very reputable shop and also got a lifetime warranty on the paint job.

I just picked up mine on May 31st. Monaco Blue 330i, with every option except heated seats. i live in florida so I'm not complaining. I absolutely love it! It only had 17k miles!!
