hand wash: how much would you pay

Going to start mobile hand car wash or at my house.

Would you spend 15 bucks on a great hand wash.

Using excellent technique and quality product?

Would definitely pay 15 or maybe even more if it comes out swirl-free + proper techniques and tools are used.

I'd pay $15 for a mobile hand wash. Probably even $20.

If that's $15 for the mobile service I think you're underpricing yourself. By the time you drive to/from and do the wash you're at least an hour. Take out your expenses and you're working for less than minimum wage. IMO you'll need to find a clientele willing to pay more, and people have to expect to pay if you're coming to them.

If its mobile thats too cheap a lot of people charge about $100+ but its just ridiculous for me anyways since I can do what they can do. Again just washing not detailing...

I'd spend 50 bucks on a great hand car wash... But my dad auto details cars for a living for car shows and SEMA and such... charges a lot more than 50 bucks.

In Montreal you can get decent hand washes for around $10, but if you want detailing I've found it's usually more than $50 for half-decent detailing.

In Van, most places (not mobile) charge around $20 for cleaning inside and out (wash & vacuum type of thing) and $80-$100 for the first level of detailing. If you go mobile, you could probably tack on $10-20 depending on how far you're going.
