Angel Eyes vs. Demon Eyes

Ok, I have seen some posts for both types of look but have not seen a comparison on an AW car yet. This will be my 2nd and last non performance minded mod.

Attached is a pic of the demon eyes from from Lux as I have decided either way I will likely buy from them as they look to have the highest satisfaction.

Opinions please!

Woah...those look freaking awesome. But I wonder how it would look with a corner light delete.

It does look pretty cool- and the best part about it is it's completely legal, unlike the red and blue angel eyes which can easily get you in trouble with the law, as only emergency vehicles and law-enforcement vehicles are allowed to have red and blue lights on the front of their car.

Personally not something I would do, but it does look different than most others out there. Interesting.

Thanks for the input, was curious to what the current consensus was. If I had an SG or JB car I would definitely go for the amber. I agree that a true white will look best on my AW3, even though it seems so plain and common.

Consider these as an option: 20W CREE LED Angel Eye bulbs (40W total)

Got a set for Christmas and they look great. No error codes, put off a nice, bright, white light, and still visible in daylight. Can't beat the price, either.

I tried to take some with my cell phone, but they did not come out very good at all (completely over-exposed). Don't have my better camera at the moment (lent it to a friend), but if I can get ahold of it I will try to take some better pictures. But they look like all the other good LED options. Here is a review done by someone else and, while they are from a different vendor and not exactly the same, the end result appears to be about the same from the photos he posted. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=720849

Many cars have red lights on them, the issue here is placement of red lights on the front of a vehicle -- to say the least would be kinda stupid since red is generally reserved to identify the rear of a car.

Blue is definitely reserved for emergency vehicles.

Yellow should be fine, especially since it is a common color for fog lights, and I would guess green is probably okay too but I would have to look at local vehicle codes before using that color.

i was looking into the red demon eyes for my e90 and i came across a website that does a color changing led (not rave-ing lights but user controlled color) the only reason id didn't get it is i couldn't justify spending 4-500 bucks on lights...

Not a fan of colored AE's

White or blue/purple hues are ok. But the greens, reds, blues, and ambers look weird.

Go with the 6500k on the Lux. Closest color to the LCI lights IMO.
