Man I was planning to come tonight, but totally forgot about this stupid thing my wife is going to in Jersey....some kind of bullshit gathering where 20 or so married women bring food over and talk about stupid shit!!! I have to stay home and watch the kids ( which is no biggie because I love to stay with them) but it would have been nice to show up tonight because I think tonight there will be alot of E9x's showing up!!! I know if this is good tonight there will be more, hopefully a little warmer even though you can go inside the shop...Guys please take some pics...

Yeah I think they bit off ALOT more than they could chew. It didn't take too long for the police to chase everyone off.
They had that whole area blocked off with cars.

What was that shop(?) anyway. Is it suppose to be a performance shop, a garage that some rich guy owns and wanted to party, or a sterio shop, ect.? I didn't see any kind of signs or anything. It looked like a garage that some rich guy tweeks his lambo in with his friends. He got a little pissy with me when I tried to update Scott's Attache. Understandably so if he was a shop, but I didn't know thats what it was or I would have done it else where.

Oh well. Cool cars anyway.

We arived with the 3rd part of the NJ caravan and watched everyone leave. Fun, but when we got in there was only abt 60 cars. Its an everything shop, from stereos to performane. The E46 in there was fully built by them as well as the lambo. IDk who was there for the startup but straight pipes on a lambo is rediculous.

dude it was a damn shit show. Cars were all over the place and apparently, one of the people that lives on the street called the cops ASAP. We literally got there, waited on line for 10-15 minutes, made it around the corner to park and the cops showed up telling everyone to leave. Some were even lucky enough to have tickets issued. WHACK. And like SpaRTan8 said...they DEFINITELY bit off more than they could chew

Ok guys lets set the story straight now. We didnt invite all of these people. We invited about 4 forums. The people on the forums invited their friends. I cant help that. The only reason the cops came bc one of the neighbors is a cop. The cops were cool until that guy showed his badge. As far as I know no tickets were issued b/c the cops came back later to talk to us.

As far as me getting pissy with Spartan. I am the coolest guy in the world, it is my shop and I am not just some rich guy who needs a shop to work on my lambo I can do it in my garage. Every car parked by the shop had work done to it and all the work was done in house. Performance, Stereo, Wheels, Paint, Suspension. If you would have come and asked if you could do software upgrades I would have let you do it inside and pull the cars in the driveway. Its about having some respect thats all. There were other people that were doing stuff but before they did it they asked if I was cool with it. So if you wanna come on a forum and bash me as some rich guy go ahead.

PS the shop is done as a hobby and for the love of cars. Its not my everyday gig.

Yo Sal, it was real nice meeting you, freddie and the others last night, I had a real good time.

Hopefully the next meet thats planned is a bit more organized, maybe at an empty parking lot or something with clearance from the cops. I could understand why the cops wanted us out of there, if a fight broke loose, or somehow someones car got stolen or if there was alcohol, etc...it woulda been a living nightmare for the cops

There are pics on other forums. I dont blame the cops either. I spoke to them and told them it was taking forever to park bc I wanted to keep a lane clear when we were all done so that people could get through.

This meet was planned out for 100 cars. But well over 200 showed up. So yeh caused a little confusion. And the problem was people don't like to listen. We wanted everyone to pull face in. But that didn't happen. LOL. And because of the rain the days before, one area that could hold 50 cars was all mudd so that was a waste. Next meet will def be able to handle all the cars.
