I'm not crazy about the area under the kidney grills. Too much going on there for me. The rest looks pretty good though.
I really like the new Idrive interface. |

Tail lights – I like. Better job of hooking back into the signature L shape. LED’s a plus.
Headlights – having a tough time with these. Not a big fan of the 5 or 7 Series lights, and that’s what these look like. If the amber LEDs prevent the necessity for a bicycle reflector, ala E92, then I can put up with them. Otherwise, I’d prefer the same amber we have now. Hood – I can’t decide whether I like the new ridges or not. I really like the clean look of the current hood. Also, the photographer didn’t do us any favors by shooting the photos at high noon and over exposing them. Would be nice to see some well lighted saturated photos to better show the contours and lines of the car. Elephant Ears (mirrors) – not too crazy about them, but DOT requirement to have American-idiot-SUV-mirrors on everything now. Love what I’ve read and seen about the new iDrive so far. Pissed that light poplar is no longer an option for wood Pissed that the best wheels ever (159) no longer on ZSP

By the way, this photo is from Sept 2006. It shows just how far in advance the development takes place.

No, iDrive is a definite option. . .I personally just like the lines better without the iDrive.

I'm personally excited! I think this car has great potential...
New front + M-tech + blacklines (hopefully) + old mirrors + 19's = Big improvement over current car similarly equipped!

Looking forward to seeing the M-sport version. Thank goodness they got rid of the hideous Buickesque chrome strips at top of kidney. Nice 335d E91 !!!

Yes. Always a gripe. The window switches are too far forward in the current E90. I always end up lowering the driver's rear by mistake.
