Bimmian Gloss Black Emblems -e92
Looking for gloss black 335d emblems if anyone has any spare lying around or can point me in the right direction. Did a search and came across Dave's post on them a while back and looked at an overall price of about £45 ..... For 4 plastic bits?! Hellllll no!
Not sure if I should just attempt to paint my current ones and if so.... What product / paint should I use for a gloss black finish. Are there any DIYs for this? Also looking for gloss black kidney grilles.. Also can anyone tell me what part numbers are the window trims as mine look dated or is it best to DIY these too and if so again what product would be best snd where to buy from? Ta |

I'm still in split minds actually. Because I have a Titanium Silver car, should I debadge the lettering, in which case this thread is pointless LOL... OR... should I continue in pursuit of getting the lettering changed to gloss black? I've put on some black boot and bonnet badges (same as MEGA off his Gaydon pics) which I think makes a great change aesthetically speaking.. Everyone's welcome to comment and share their thoughts... |

Thats the good think with plastidip, it costs £10 for a rattle can and if you dont like it, just peel it off!
Thats what I'll be doing with my rear badge. |

But don't you have to sand down the chrome / silver off the badge first before plasti dip? And what about a gloss finish... do I need some lacquer after plasti dip?

Nope, An IPA wipe down prior maybe but definitely no sanding.
Not sure if you can get different finishes - http://www.plastidip.co.uk/eStore/in...w&pid=PDL-0009 |
