Zaino Z2 vs Chemical Guys Jetseal 109
I've been using Z2 for a while now on my JB. I wanted to try something different because Z2 looks a little "plasticy". Dont get me wrong Z2 has a nice shine but it can be a pain in the ass to apply and Im tired of the plastic look.
I got some Jetseal 109 today in the mail so I did one side of my car. First thing I noticed is its very easy to put on. With Z2 you can barely see it going on so it can be difficult to see spots you've missed. Jetseal was more traditional in that you can actually see the product on the paint. I let it sit for 20 minutes or so and then removed it. Wow it was easy to remove. Anyone that has used Z2 knows it can be a pain in the ass to remove especially if you put to much on. Jetseal was a breeze to remove. As far as how it looks, great! I think its got a "wetter" look than Z2. Sorry I dont have pics, its been raining here in Florida all day. Even if it did look the same as Z2 I would choose Jetseal because it goes on and off so nice! Its expensive but the bottle is very big and will last forever. I will still use my Z5 but jetseal will be my new final sealer. |

I haven't used it, but plan on giving it a shot. Here is a nice comparison that was recently done on Autopia.org showing jetseals durabilty or lack of, considering the hype.
http://autopia.org/forum/car-detaili...ight=collinite i wouls still assume Z2 to have longer durabilty. |

Interesting thread over at autopia. I'll judge the durability for myself. For shine and application jetseal wins hands down. |

JS is supposed to "cure" for 15 min according to the directions, however, if you leave it on for 12 hours, the durability is better. I am not bashing Collonite as it is one of my favorite liquid/harsh weather waxes. |
