Pro Honda Contact/Brake Cleaner Tar gone instantly. Doesn't hurt paint.

I'm not saying hose down your ride with this stuff, but I have used it once in awhile to remove tar and stubborn crud off my vehicles. Just the tiniest little spritz followed with a warm soapy rag and tar is gone.

FWIW Available at just about any Honda Motorcycle Dealership. Excellent stuff.

Also, Plexus works great as someone else mentioned on the headlights and other plastics. You can find it at the bike shop as well.

Lastly Pro-Honda Shine and Polish works like a champ at removing bug guts, and doing quick touch ups. Better than just about anything else I've found for quick waterless spot cleaning. Keep a couple microfiber towels and small can of the pro Honda Polish in the trunk and you're set.
