this is an awesome mod... although i'm not sure if it's legal in Australia or not.

if i do do it, can i just bring my car to a shop and have them remove the muffler and put a connector to my existing OEM tips? or do i have to get a new set of tips altogether?

This is a good mod, however, I seem to be missing my lower end torque I use to have when I had the stock muffler. But in higher gears like 4 and 5, the car seems to have a better push.
I am not sure if I have a loss in torque after this mod. Before when I drove in gear 1 and 2 I would get this really pushy feel, but now it's barely noticable even with my simota intake.
Can someone also give me some input on how's their car reacted after the mod?

Love those tips!...what's is the lenght and diameter? Is it 3" Diameter / 7.5 lenght with a 2.25 inlet?
I'm looking to ordering them from magnaflow and need the dimensions.

Thanks!

the sound would be the same... i have a 328 and it doesnt sound any different from a 325... in fact everything is basically the same as a 325... i had a 325 loaner before and there wasnt much difference in power either. anyway, i paid $160 including tips for my job... that should give you a ball park figure on how much its going to cost.
