Wow you really missed out on saturday then. I washed, waxed, and detailed my car. In addition to adding a few subtle mods to the list.

Yeah, washed mine while wearing a tshirt. It was in the upper 60s.

It was at least 6 weeks since the last cleaning.

Welcome to the forum Uber. Glad to have another Tennessean on the board. I saw you bought 189s. Very nice choice. Do you have any other mods lined up? Post up some pictures of your car!

LOL. yes. I have Lux 5.0 hopefully making their way out tomorrow from NAMotorsports/MDS. I will be doing a grill blackout and debadging (I think it makes the rear look so much more clean) once it warms up just a bit.

I have a set of sport shocks/springs on the way, should be here tomorrow - also thinking about throwing on a rear sway bar in the process.

I'm going to get 15mm spacers for the rears to push the 189's all the way out. Though, I'm not sure how much height drop from non-ZSP to ZSP there is, I think i remember reading something between .6-.8", so it shouldn't negatively affect camber and/or rubbing w/ 15 mm spacers. If so, I may just go with 10mm.

The carbon filter delete, as well.

And I think the euro rear fogs mod looks pretty quick/painless.

Once I get all that settled, I probably want to get some blacklines. I have 30% Huper Optik, but it's still bubbled in some spots after like 4 weeks, so that is going back this week to get re-done.

That, and I suppose I am thinking about doing something of an audio upgrade (non-L7), but that will be a huge pain, so I'm waiting that out for a few. Really it's just the sub response that drives me nuts, especially when i roll down the windows and the cabin pressure drops - it's horrible. But I figure if i'm going to tear in there and do that w/ amp upgrade, i might as well get the rest while i'm at it. big sigh there.

I plan on taking some decent pics, especially while doing some of these mods, if anything to add some supplimental value to the DIY section of the forum.

Hopefully this should keep me busy, but if you guys can think of anything else i should do, let me know )

Those are sedan prices, and sedans with no options at that. A coupe is much higher. That's what I'm on too. But it fluctuates from month to month, with December usually being the cheapest.

Sounds like you've got a full plate.

This weekend I installed 15mm spacers. I have 162s and stock sport suspension. No rubbing, but the rears look awesome now. My LUX 5.0s are being shipped with yours! I can't wait until they get here.

If you're going to do a grill blackout, just order the matte grill from jlevesw.com. Don't try to paint it- it'll chip.

It sounds like we're a lot alike as far as the mods go- subtle, yet clean.. Others that are quick and easy, but nice to have are the Illuminated Sunglass tray and the Happy Robot Mod. Just do a quick search and you'll find the DIY.

Oh, and blacklines are a must!

I only did the happy robot because I took out the cigarette lighter in the front for the sunglass tray. I thought it would be a good idea to have outlets in the car somewhere.

I mean the DIY looks easy enough, I just dont know how
much I would need to torque the wheel bolt when I put it back on?

Ha and I feel like DIY for the cost of nothing haha.

Ha I might want some help then,
I mean the DIY makes it look pretty easy.

I mean all I have to do is unplug
negative terminal, pop off airbag,
take off steering wheel, pop off multi-function,
ha and damn lots of other stuff. Ha

I would be willing to drive to you, hopefully
you charge e90 posters very little, or well the ones
that bring their own tools and help out
