Man, you do some serious kick-a** work!

I'm going to have to bring my Bimmer in to your place to get some serious cleaning/detailing work!

Unfortunately I have to get a lot of paint work done first.

Speaking of which, do you know a good place in the Valley to get my front and rear end painted?

Thanks!

Yeah, just PM me and I'll point you in some good direction. Just a heads up, after repainting the car, it is good to let it cure (3-6wk) before working on the car.

Could you explain what you use to detail under the hood and how you do it? Maybe post a few pics of the process? Keep up the good work!

Sure. Before we start the engine bay detailing we make sure that the car is fully cooled down before starting. We do the engine bay before the car wash process too. We start by spraying our Detail Addict Engine Wheel Cleaner liberally. Then, scrub the area lightly (beware of loose/expose wires). Then, pressure wash it down (again beware of loose/expose wires.) then we air pressure dry the engine, touch up with a all purpose microfiber towel. Then lastly, we would dress the plastic trimming with our Detail Addict Rub & Shine.

Thanks for the kind compliment.

I'm terrified to try this lol. These days there are so many electrical components under the hood so I'm scared I will ruin something. When you say be aware of exposed wires, do you cover anything up with plastic or are you just careful not to directly spray certain areas? Thanks for the info!

We sometimes cover up some areas that we know that is a bit exposed. For the E90, the engine bay pretty much covered by plastic covers and no random loose wires (like older cars). Just don't spray too close and directly at those sensitive areas. Something like rubber tubes, I don't spray too direct at it as a precaution. Some areas I'd scrub a bit more so when I spray water at it, I don't need too much pressure to get the dirt off.

BMW E92 M3

Detail Addict Silver Package

This guy is one of our regular customers, I swear every time he comes in the car always looks like it lived its life. Occasionally, I'd like to see a car that isn't babied and was driven to hell and back. The guy keeps up the maintenance on his own, so the car was fairly smooth and no major scratches. Straight forward detailing in this case. Just a tip for those who dread detailing your car because it takes too long, if you keep up the maintenance, detailing it is a breeze. (Generally speaking of course.)

Looks amazing! I will always have a soft spot for the Foresters. One of the best cars I've ever owned in terms of reliability and practicality. Although Subaru is known to have very thin sheet metal and easily scratched paint. Proceed with caution. But you're a pro, you probably know that already.
