Alloy wheel repair from BJ BMW?

Has anyone used AlloyWheel Repair from Brian Jessel BMW?

I got style 189 wheels, and one of wheel's paint came off.
It's not a scratch or a scrape.. The location is at a really weird spot.
Right where the tire and wheels almost touches each other(more like the edge of wheel).
Affected area(black colour now) is about a pea size.

I got it directly from a fellow E92 335i owner here, so it won't be covered by BMW warranty.

Did anyone use BJ's repair service and how much is it going to cost to repair the paint?

Or does anyone know any other place that does the job for a reasonable price?

Thanks!

It shouldn't be more than $150.

BJ will probably charge you an arm and a leg for wheel repairs...might want to shop around first...

I used them once, they did an excellent job on mine, almost cant tell the rim is curb rashed anymore. But my advice would be to just get some touch up paints from body shops first, and use AWR only when you have a lot of curb rash, cuz the price will be VERY similar whether you have one little paint chip or a ton of curb rash, the reason is there's a minimum charge for each wheel.

I would say more like $300 - $400 per wheel from BJ.

nah, BMW Canada charges you $175 per wheel when you return a lease with curb rash. They probably don't even fix it. haha.

$400? You may as well buy a new Wheel!

I don't think Brian Jessel does the work anyhow. 2 companies in the lower mainland do it. Greens Automotive in Richmond and Panther Machining in Surrey. I remember seeing the wheels there from BMW getting refinished. I had my wheels (after market) refinished and they did a great job. May want to call them yourself to get an idea on price and cut the middle man out.

I've been to Panthers before they fixed my Volk's look good, but not perfect cost me $175 cash deal for one rim, but if Gen_E92 paid $120 it appeas BJ's is a better deal maybe there is a 1st time for BMW being cheaper. LOL

Thanks all for great info.

I might just go with touch-up paint route first as paint chip isn't that big...

What colour is style 189 wheel? General silver???
Haha feels like a colour blind now...
