Hello. New E92 335i Individual owner.
Evening all.
Just thought I'd say hello. Recently signed up as I collected my first E9X last weekend - a 2007 335i M Sport Individual in Mora Metallic with Black Dakota leather. It's a manual and has pretty good spec. with iDrive, heated seats, folding mirrors, Bluetooth, genuine Style 313 wheels and all the usual stuff. It's my 10th BMW, having gone through three E36s, three E39s, an E46 330ci and two E46 M3s. The 335 feels like a real step up in quality and drive. I'm so impressed with it so far - I thought I'd miss the grunt of the M3s but this feels just as quick while being more refined. Look forward to contributing |

Yep I saw that too.... don't see too many manuals these days but welcome on board SC7 (doesn't stand for your all time fav band SClub 7 does it) but re the car nice'n'subtle and I can see a nice set of LCI rears and say a set of black kidneys would work wonders for the rear as stated above . Paul on the classified's is selling a set if you are interested.
But welcome aboard |

Thanks for all the replies!
I didn't actually want a manual, but I'm glad I got one. The colour and spec. were enough for me to make a decision. I'm not a fan of black grills. In fact I don't really want to modify it as such, although I have fitted LED angel eye bulbs because the orange OEM ones look very dated. Yesterday I also fitted some new genuine BMW mats, a new inner rear light (old one was flickering), a new bonnet badge and new OEM cases to both of the keys. Next job is to replace the low tone horn, so I'm going to fit LED indicators while I've got the bumper off. I just want to make it the best it can be but mainly stay OEM. |

Lovely car. I assume this is the same car on fb recently as well? If it were me then the rear lights and the office upgrade to CIC would be all I would do. The rest looks spot on to me!

I agree with oem to a point. Most stuff oem is top notch. Floor matts, halos, wheels, tires, turbos, charge pipe, rear diff, and intercooler suck and have quality aftermarket replacements. The hpfp sucks but we're stuck with it. Same with the wheel bearings, valve cover, and water pump. Gaskets are a problem that I doubt can be fixed.
So for the most part, stick to oem. But for the parts listed above, I wouldn't replace then with oem. Don't throw good money after bad. |

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...light=Wavetrac http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1112560 OEM wheels and tires vs aftermarket OEM = expensive, cast (heavy and weak), boring Aftermarket = less expensive, cast, flow forged, or forged, lighter, stronger, looks to suit vehicle, custom fit for optimal performance for your application. OEM tires = mass market, heavy run flat, hard, loud, fast wearing, poor grip, expensive. Aftermarket tires = performance orientated, lighter, cheaper, quiet, better ride, better grip. Look at Avant-garde, Apex, VMR, etc. Too many to list. Tires look at Michelin PSS to start. Skip the Goodyears. Matts Oem = thin, won't stay put, moves around. Expensive Look at Lloyds. Thick, perfect color match, stays put, cheaper, far superior quality. Charge pipe Oem =plastic= shatters wit increased boost. Get aluminum aftermarket with BOV or diverters FMIC Oem= small and ineffective. Poorly suited for additional power. Look at 5" and especially 7" replacements.
