If your car is tuned - forget it. DMV checks the calibration ID and CVN of the ecu. If you are tuned, those numbers change due to them being a checksum.

A smog tech cannot simply "look away" from this aspect - they are being reported directly to dmv computers and verified across a database - if tuned, by the end of the test, you will receive a pass on everything, but you will fail due to "software modification"

Can you DM me, Mine is due in December and I need some help. I've tried talking to the smog techs but none of them are game to help. I need help to know how to talk to them.
