Camera Mount in an E93
I think I have come up with the video camera mount for my E93, but I have a question. I got a 48" aluminum angle 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" and ran it behind the headrests (Vert has only large single posts on both sides). I attached the angle with both industrial strength velcro and 4 zip ties on each side going around the large posts and through holes I drilled in the angle. I took the top mount off of an old tripod and drilled a hole in the bottom of the post to bolt it to the angle.
My question is, what if anything would you suggest for shock absorber. I could place rubber disks on either side of the bolt for the mount, but I don't know whether that would be better or just turn on the optical stabilization. The camera is a Panasonic HDC-SD60K SD Based Hi-Def Camcorder. Any suggestions would be appreciated, as I have limited test time prior to the event. |
