Need Some Suggestions
I know there are hundreds of threads asking for members' input on what to do next...but whatever, I'm curious too.
This is my 07 as she sits now...only thing that has been done to her is a JB4 and DCI. I'm leaning towards a different set of wheels too...I'm getting tired of these (so...if anyone is interested in trading, hit me up). I have a set of KWV1's in my garage that I need to install, just waiting on some free time to get it done. Other than that, I'm kind of at a loss for what I should do next... And my other vehicle which is about to start occupying my time and some of my money... |

Your wheels look wayyyy too chrome/ghetto for my liking. Also black out the chrome lining on your car and get some black painted reflectors. You could always get OSS or something like that too. It's all up to you though.
And a side note, I wouldn't has gotten the black matte grill. The chrome grill looks better on E92's LCI e90's. |

Besides that, what are you interested in? exhuast? power? looks? suspension? interior? These mods are not in order as far as relevance, i just plopped them all in there Some overlap several categories as well. Power: 1)DPs 2)FMIC 3)Exhaust or new chargepipe/BOV/DVs 4)Upgraded turbos (RBs, Vishnu Single, Vargas) Looks: 1)Rims + tires 2)Bumpers (m-sport/m-tech/M3 rep/Vorsteiner/etc) 3)Coilovers (my favorite) 4)BBK 5) New Angel Eyes (LUX, AlpineMSS, OSS, LS3, etc) 6) Aggressive hood (many differnet types) 7) Bootlid lips or M3 Rep Lip Suspension: 1)Coilovers (as well) 2)M3 Suspension parts 3)LSD (the biggest improvement) 4)Sway bars and such 5)BBK Interior: 1)New shifter (if yours is a manual) 2) Interior Trim Vinyl Wrap/Paint 3) M3 Dash 4) New LED interior lights 5) Race seats (Recaro Pole Positions are nice) Just throwing out suggestions! EDIT: Just saw that yours is an automatic, and also that you already have coilovers. Ignore those suggestions

I'd rather work on the exterior at this point...
The wheels are actually hyper black...but they look much more like chrome. I definitely want to get a different set. I'm thinking a set of bbs lm reps in gunmetal. Trying to balance between this car and the Yukon though. I've got a 3 inch lift kit I need to put on that before winter hits. I had the window trim plasti dipped but took it off... Quality wasn't quite there...and I'm a perfectionist. |

hyperblack wheels look good. I would keep them and then do the following in this exact order:
painted reflectors gloss black shadowline gloss black front grilles drop the car to the ground mtech/m3 side skirts mtech rear bumper mtech front bumper hamann cf front lip oem performance rear spoiler in cf LCI taillights black chrome exhaust tips OSS angel eyes M3 side mirrors

If you want new wheels my favorites for our cars is the Avant Garde M359, M3 comp pkg replicas...
They seem to get good feedback overall, I didn't buy a set because at the 19inch size I wanted they are too wide in my opinion. 10" in the back (1.5 more than stock) and 9" in front (1 more than stock) is a little too much. You are limited with tire width so the tire looks too narrow for the rim. If they would sell them narrower I would buy a set! |
