garage heaters...
I know it's still way too early for this, but since getting a second car, I need to totally re-do my garage...
Anyone here that could recommed a good garage heater ? Found this at costco : http://www.costco.ca/Dimplex-4%2C000...&storeId=10302 Thanks ! |

4000w @ 240V might be sufficient for a small two car garage, but it will defintately take a while to heat up, and you better have some good insulation in your garage.
Assuming you're just using it to work on your car, I use a forced air heater from XS Cargo that uses propane. It drinks up a tank in 6-8 hours, but it works very well. |

Or you can store with me lol ... There are many other factors why a car should not be stored in a home garage especially when the door will be opening and closing all the time.
Heaters will do absolutely nothing and cost you money

These are good heaters. I use one to heat my shop. It will have no problem keeping an insulated 2 car garage warm. I set the thermostat at 10C.
The Costco price is in line too. The same heater without the mounting bracket is $110 at TSC stores, sometimes on sale for around $80. TSC calls it Portable Construction Heater. |
